Whole house wrapped!

We decided to look into window film as the recent hot weather was making our home uncomfortable. We contacted Robert at UK Window Film, who was very approachable and clearly knowledgeable about the different types of film available. After speaking with him on the phone, we arranged a date for installation. He arrived on time and completed the work efficiently. Our whole house was wrapped, and we noticed the difference immediately. We’re really glad we went ahead with it and were very impressed with the service Robert provided.

Great Customer service and very friendly

Robert installed solar film to our roof lantern to reduce the heat we experience on sunny days. The quote was very competitive and we were given a suitable day/time for the works to be carried out. We were also sent some samples so that we could select a suitable film. Robert also explained the different solar films on arrival which made deciding so much easier. He was very professional, friendly and tidy throughout. Today, one of the hottest days, there is hardly any heat if any at all coming through the lantern so we are very pleased. We would definitely use UK Window Films Ltd again and highly recommend. Thank you.

Window film for roof lantern

We contacted Rob through his website form looking for advice on the installation of solar film. The prompt response and subsequent service was phenomenal. Within a couple of days Rob had sent over options of films with the technical information for each. Rob was very prompt with scheduling an appointment and arrived promptly at the agreed time. The installation of the film has honestly made a bigger difference than we expected. Our kitchen/diner faces the sun for a good part of the day and used to turn into an uncomfortably warm room by afternoon — now the temperature stays noticeably more comfortable, even on bright, sunny days. The other big win is the glare. Before the film, we often had to squint or draw the blinds just to see the counters or use our phones/laptops at the kitchen table. Now the light comes through soft and diffused rather than harsh and blinding, so we can actually leave the blinds open and enjoy natural light without the discomfort. The installation itself was clean and professional, and the film is virtually invisible. Rob has done a fantastic job and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Ten out of Ten

Rob was booked in to arrive between 07:30 -08:00 and arrived at 07:31 which was a real indication of his professionalism. He was friendly and incredibly helpful talking us through the alternative, offering helpful advice. The work was completed promptly with no fuss or mess and we are very pleased with the appearance of the finished product. Ironically the weather is now cooler and the sun seems to have disappeared so we have as yet to assess the benefit! Having said that we have already recommended UK Window Films Ltd to two neighbours.

Tru Vue 15 Window film applied conservatory roof

Rob arrived at the agreed time, was friendly and explained my options in detail. then allowed me to choose the best solution for my needs, with no pressure. He worked to install the film completing in about 4 hours, cleaning up afterwards so as you wouldn't know he had worked. The resulting testing I did when the sun was fully on my conservatory in the afternoon showed a great improvement in the amount of sun penetrating and glare. Overall very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Rob to undertake this work. I will be using him again.

Window Film for Conservatory Roof

We contacted Rob about installing window film to the inside of my mother’s conservatory roof in order to reduce heat and glare. He came round with samples and talked us cheerfully through each one. Then gave us a very competitive quote. On the day of installation he arrived promptly and completed the work tidily and efficiently. It has made a significant difference, making the conservatory cooler but still allowing light into what would otherwise be a dark kitchen. Good communication and great service. Highly recommended. Thank you Rob!

Privacy Tinted Window Film

Robert installed Solar Guard SS25 OSW externally on my patio doors and side windows. I had researched several products thoroughly before engaging Robert who was very prompt with his responses and detailed product info. On installation day he arrived on time, was very personable, polite and meticulous with the application. He is very experienced and professional and I would certainly recommend him to anyone seeking a superior tinted window film for UV or privacy purposes.

Park Home Windows

Excellent service what more can I say. Rob is a true gentleman who seems to respect the fact that all folks want is a good job at the right price done by a knowledgeable person. Coupled with a being really nice guy. We had some windows done on our park home and to be honest we did keep putting it off due to construction delays but when we called he fitted us in quickly. We wasn't sure which film to have but Rob talked us through this and we are really pleased with the result. If we needed to have this done again we not hesitate to contact him. More to the point we would recommend to any of our friends something that we wouldn't do lightly

Fabulous service and great product

I contacted Robert having searched for the top recommended providers of window film based in the UK, after having been dismayed by the heat and brightness in my garden office since having it built last year - blinds and air con only worked to an extent and even in winter when it's sunny it could be most uncomfortable. Robert was a pleasure to deal with - he provided quotes and guidance promptly and yesterday he installed the window film (within a week of me first reaching out). I am completely delighted with the result - I didn't want a mirror effect - the Stainless Steel 20 which I had installed looks great and the glare and heat instantly reduced - what a complete relief! I only wish the suppliers of the garden office had told me about this product and I might not have spent so much on blinds (they cost more than this product). It seems a complete win-win to me that garden office suppliers might work jointly with an excellent company such as this - as it's only by luck talking to a colleague that I even find out this was a 'thing'! Thanks again to Robert for a fantastic job

Professional and Friendly Service

I am very pleased with the installation of True Vue 15 film on my conservatory roof. On arrival, Robert took time to explain the differences between available films and helped me in my decision. The difference in glare reduction was visible immediately and I like the finished effect. Overall I found them a very helpful and pleasant company run by Robert and Julie.

Exemplary customer service and products

I contacted Robert by email to enquire about possibly shipping medical grade window protection films for my home in Northern Ireland. I have photosensitivity autoimmune disease. The website was the best I viewed in UK with all relevant information I needed to make an informed decision following Dermatologist recommendations at Salford Hospital. Robert contacted me immediately giving reassurance that a courier could be used at my choice. The order was prepared immediately, however the courier was delayed due to unforeseen logistical problems. The products arrived in perfect condition. I did receive my order within seven days which was pretty standard. Robert apologised on behalf courier and kept in close communication. I waited to review for 8 weeks to experience the products. We opted for DIY film. My husband was able to follow the instructions given. Initially we were concerned we applied it wrong as lots of bubbling. These bubbles all disappear after a week. I am happy to report the products are of a high standard and I noticed an immediate reduction in my disease symptoms within a week. I chose clear UV film for house, and reflective solar film for the summerhouse. I am very pleased that Robert assisted with measuring and it was spot on accuracy. It has literally changed my life being able to enjoy my home and garden summerhouse with full UV protection. Great products, great customer service and I highly recommend. My husband is plumber & was able to DIY it. Give it a go!

Great job done by Rob who is a very friendly and very helpful person.

We had Rob fit Stainless steel 20 widow films to our new windows at the front of the house. The effect from outside looks so smart, you don’t realise they are there, but you can’t see a thing inside, from inside looking out instantly you notice the reduction in glare especially on bright sunny days and within 10mins you totally forget the view is just a shade darker. Highly recommend Rob and the films he uses, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends, you won’t be disappointed

Amazing Window Film Company

I live on a first floor flat, and the 3 windows that needed doing were 2 south facing & 1 south/west facing. My rooms are small but the windows are big, and in the summer months it can be like a green house inside, very uncomfortable for me and my Cat. Over the years I have used blackout binds and more recently I had some silver, custom, stick on shades made. Both of those products were ok but obviously blocked out all the light during the day which made it like a dark dingy cave, so I thought about having Solar Heat Reflecting Film applied. After do so much research, and getting a few quotes, which were very expensive, I almost gave up, until I came across UK Window Films LTD. I called them up explaining what I wanted and was passed over to a gentleman called Rob, well from the very second I spoke to him, I knew he was the Man for the job, well before we even discussed a price. He knew exactly what I was looking for, explained it all in words I could understand, very happy, and his price was very very reasonable. So I booked Rob in. On the day of the job he arrive nice and early, very friendly and very polite. His workmanship is second to none, and I’m very happy with the results. I had ‘Silver 20 OSW EXTERNAL fitted. It was quite a warm day today too, and so far I’m very happy with the internal temp, and that I have lost all the glare. If you want a very reliable, honest, professional Window Film service, look no further than Rob at UK Window Films. Highly recommend.

Rob was very helpful from the start

Rob was very helpful from the start, he explained me what film he recommends for my needs (minimal tinting, laminate glass), sent over photos. He was responsive to all my emailed questions after the initial chat, he could even get me the fire safety records of the external film (for the freeholder). The installation was quick, he even managed to install it on a small window pane that I thought would be impossible (non opening window-pane with tricky access from above). I'm looking forward testing the window films in real sunshine!

Great Service. Great Guy. Great Product.

I suffer from MS so stuck inside the house a lot. We have an east-facing front and west-facing back, making summers a real challenge and very uncomfortable in the mornings and evenings. Rob came out and did an excellent job installing 25 OSW and it has been a game changer!! As other reviews have already stated, Rob is an expert in this field and it shows right from the very first email response to my inquiry through to installation on the day. It is refreshing in this day and age to come across someone so passionate and knowledgeable about their product and service. On top of this, Rob is a true gent and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a blast :). I cannot recommend the services of UK Window Films enough. We looked at cheaper options on Amazon, which would have destroyed our double-glazing in a matter of weeks and cost us a lot to replace, so we considered working with Rob a long-term investment that started reaping its rewards in terms of room comfort and peace of mind from Day 1. Top Job and could not be happier

Great Customer Enquiry Service and Speedy Delivery

Found this company after a random web search. Firstly impressed by the clean professional and detailed website. Still had a couple of questions for a particular special needs but very small order job, so phoned the company several times yesterday with a sucession of queries . Robert was quick to answer, and consistently helpful with a range of options. Amazed to find our film delivered overnight and arrived first thing this morning. Truely exceptional customer service, with swift, friendly and helpful advice, followed up by an impressive delivery. Highly recommended; thank you!

Exceptional service

Privacy Film to downstairs windows. We were new to window films and did quite a bit of research. During that process Rob and his office team members answered questions clearly and efficiently. He listened well and recommended stainless steel film but sent three different samples for us to 'try out' - which we found very helpful. His pricing was extremely competitive and his professionalism won him the contract. Rob arrived on time, showed flexibility, and did an excellent job. It was a delight to meet him. He also pointed out a fault in the new double glazing - which meant that his work had to pause while we spoke to original manufacturer. Rob took the delay in his stride and returned promptly when the job could be completed

Very professional job

I can't recommend UK Window Films enough. Rob is an absolute professional and a really nice guy. He fitted Stainless Steel 20 film to our porch, lounge and workshop windows. After my initial enquiry he sent me samples and provided a quotation to my measurements for several different films which he thought would be suitable. As I was undecided he brought two along on the day of the installation so that I could see the difference between them before making a decision. The installation was carried out very quickly and professionally. Delighted with the results and would definitely use them again.

Very professional job

Rob asked me to take measurements, etc; rather than visiting, in order to provide a quote. Whilst a little apprehensive, there were no problems about my measurements on the day of his visit. Having had some windows previously fitted with window films (using another contractor), I had some idea of what to expect from the films he offered. Multi purpose films were good for my requirements - anti-glare and security. Rob was a consummate professional, and had a pleasant manner.

Delighted with work and the effectiveness of the solar film

Robert put solar film or privacy glass across most of the windows in our house. We'd agreed the price beforehand and had also taken time to choose the solar glass with his help. We'd used Robert c13 years ago and were delighted with the work and we were really pleased again. His advice and care on the type of film to use and how to install it was really helpful. Quality of the finish is excellent - he's focused, professional and knows what he's doing. Really worthwhile getting this stuff fitted properly or else it looks terrible. We find that solar film makes a huge difference in the summer and that it lasts a long time. Overall delighted. Lsdstly he's a really nice guy.

I found Rob incredibly personable and very polite on first contact he was also very informative and takes great pride in his field of expertise. He sent samples and information ahead of the appointment so I was fully drilled regarding his service and the product. He turned up on time and when he said he would and the price was exactly what he said it would be. He completed a superb and very professional job and left me feeling completely at ease and a satisfied customer. I would recommend him to anyone.

UK Window Films Ltd

Five stars all round for the great job Rob did of installing roof film tinting on our conservatory, which now makes this a very pleasant usable room which it wasn't before, due to the stifling heat of the sun coming through the polycarbonate roof. On top of that Rob is a very professional, helpful and friendly person. I would highly recommend UK Window Films for this type of project.

I have just had window film installed on all of my south facing windows ar the back of my house, including very large patio doors. The installation was completed by Rob from UK Window films Ltd. So friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, every single thing was explained in detail and every question asked was answered in full. I contacted Rob initially with my measurements etc, he gave me a quote, he stuck to the quote exactly and didn't try to inflate the price like some others do, I agreed for the work to be done and the date for it to be done and everything was completed exactly as discussed. Very good

Rob was excellent, went the extra mile (literally, I'm in Devon) to make sure the job got done, and done right. The glass in my conservatory roof required an outside film, so the installation wasn't easy, but Rob took care of it. The film has completely changed the usefulness of the conservatory from something that regularly was unpleasantly hot on sunny days to one that's usable every day, year 'round.

Great Service and Great Product

Thank you so much Rob for coming to our rescue! With a loft conversion whose temperatures could be 30 degrees C+, we searched for a product to help keep this a comfortable living space throughout the summer. In Rob & UK Window Films we found the solution we sought. Responding quickly to our initial enquiry, Rob’s experience & knowledge of his product were immediately evident & having assessed our problem he recommended a choice of products from which we selected Solar Control 40. Thanks to his expertise & skill we no longer meet a band of heat on approaching our loft rooms, & with both heat & glare much reduced our son finds his room far more comfortable & is now able to keep his blinds open & enjoy the view all day. Rob’s friendly manner, professionalism, punctuality & pride in the high quality of his work have made meeting him an absolute pleasure. We highly recommend him and UK Window Films Ltd

Lantern window film

We can't praise this company too highly. Rob arrived promptly, answered all our questions and explained the different products clearly. Our lantern window in the South facing kitchen not only made the room unbearably hot but the glare was also uncomfortable. Since the installation the difference is remarkable, far beyond what we had hoped for. A great job at a reasonable price. Many thanks Rob.

Highley Recommend

I sourced this company online when searching for information about conservatory roof film. After contacting the company the service was excellent. I was sent a sample of the film to be used and a full quotation, which I accepted. A date for installation was fixed, but Robert called me prior to that date and explained he had had a delay to one of his jobs, and asked if he could install the next day. I was more than happy to oblige and he arrived punctually the next day and installed the film efficiently and without any problems, and left the conservatory in a clean and tidy condition. I would certainly use the company again.

Ornamental stair window

Robert arrived on time so no waiting about. Got on with the job in hand. Window in question is a very tall ornamental window on a curved stair case. So not an easy task getting the ladder in the right and safe position. Job took about and hour so very impressed as I did think it was going to take all morning. Delighted with the result. I needed some privacy going up and down stairs and it has certainly done that. The window film hasn't taken away the beauty of the window, in fact has enhanced it. Found Robert to be very friendly and informative. Will definitely recommend UK Window Film at the first opportunity I get.

Great job

We have an outbuilding which gets the sun in the afternoon and is unbearably hot in summer. Rob recommended an external film for our type of glass, and was able to fit us in at an earlier date than originally scheduled. Quick, neat, and professional installation on a door and two windows, and Rob is very knowledgeable and friendly. It's too soon to say if there's any heat reduction (due to the weather), but the film looks fantastic. The invoice arrived promptly and was as quoted, along with care instructions. Great job, wouldn't hesitate to use again and recommend.

Solar Window Films

Rob advised and recommended which film to go for on my bifold and roof light. He clearly knows what he's doing as he fits them with such ease and precision. It hasn't been 24hrs yet and I have already noticed the reduction in heat in that part of the house. I can actually sit on the sofa while the sun is out and not feel I'm being burned. With 99% of the UV and 60% of the heat reduced my handmade rug will hopefully not bleach any more for a while. I'd recommend Rob and UK Window Films Ltd without hesitation.

Rob installed the SS25 film outdoors on 10th August 2020, in the middle of a heat wave. It was the perfect solution for my flat and Rob was the perfect guy. Punctual, efficient, tidy and a genuinely nice guy who really cared about his work. All work was conducted within budget, even though i ended up getting more than i asked for, Rob was kind enough to charge a nominal fee for the extra work. The invoice for the work was sent within 24 hours, along with the care instructions for the films. For me and my family, it's been one of the best investments we've made in a long time.

True Vue 15 window film on conservatory roof

Having removed worn-out pleated roof blinds from our south-facing conservatory, we needed to find a new way of keeping back the heat. I was pretty reluctant to install film - having seen what badly installed film can look like - but couldn’t see any other cost-effective option. Rob was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions, but I never felt pressured at any point - quite the opposite! He sent samples of the actual films - which was very helpful - together with a quote for each. We were able to make our final choice on the actual day of installation. Rob was friendly, polite, and very professional at all times - punctual, keeping us informed and leaving the conservatory spotless.

We ultimately chose TrueVue15. Although DC15 slightly outdoes it on heat reduction, we preferred the colour and it doesn't hold back quite as much light. The film itself was very carefully and competently installed - no gaps, no bubbles, no creases, no nothing - you wouldn’t even know it was there except for the slight darkening of the roof glass. Having finally had some sunny days this week(!) we can confirm that it has made a marked difference to the temperature reduction in the conservatory - we are delighted. It is only the end of March, but we are confident it will continue to make a big difference throughout the year.

Rob is clearly committed to ensuring that his customers are fully satisfied from start to finish - it was a pleasure to deal with him

DC 15 window film

Robert fitted our conservatory roof with DC15 window film and the difference was amazing instantly. We are south facing and in summer it got too hot to sit in and with having a glass roof the glare from the sun was awful. What a fantastic experience from the first tentative enquiry to the completion of the job. It is clear that this company treats every customer with courtesy and consideration however small the job. We needed replacement panels to match 15 year old fittings in a bathroom. From the first enquiry nothing was too much trouble and no problem too difficult to solve. We had samples delivered, materials sourced and subsequently the panels were wrapped by Rob and dispatched all within the given time scale. Over the Moon - Amazing Work!

Having just moved house into a new build property it became apparent that elements of my home audio visual set up were just not going to work with new decor, namely AV Unit and 3 large speakers. After spending all weekend trawling the internet for solutions to replace, which (1) don’t come cheap and (2) in the current climate have horrendously long lead times I was resigned to having to put up with for the foreseeable. Then I came across Rob’s website. Furniture wrapping, was that even a thing! So I sent Rob an email with requirements and hoped for the best!. A couple of exchanges later and Rob was able to collect my stuff and whisked back to his workshop. A couple of days later I got phone call from Rob to say work complete and he could drop off the same day. Not sure what to expect I was blown away when Rob unboxed my speakers and unit. The transformation was incredible and at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Needless to say I now know wrapping is a thing! All that aside on a personal level Rob is a very courteous and personable guy. Explained the process end to end and delivered on everything he promised. First class customer service, first class product and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rob for all your wrapping needs!

I cannot rate UK Window Films UK highly enough. I sent a very basic sketch to Robert and he was able to create the design exactly as I wanted it. This was done quickly and with very good communications. I was able to review the finished design and then it was produced quickly to a very high standard. Costs were extremely competitive. I installed the window film myself and the online instructions were easy to follow, the whole process went without a hitch. A company well worth considering, my experience of them was excellent and I am delighted with the finished product.

Conservatory roof film

Contact with Rob via web site discussed what I wanted to do and suggested several alternatives and sent samples for us to try, liked the fact he was not pushy. Samples arrived within a few days with information sheets on their effectiveness and a price. As Rob suggested tried samples against the glass and decided on the one we wanted to ring him to confirm a date he could carry out the work and he was very apologetic he could not do the job until the 16th and was it ok to start at 0730 to minimise heat from the sun whilst fitting. He arrived on time taking all precautions fo social distancing and commenced work promptly, on completion room left very clean and gave advice on care to take whilst the product dried out. and said invoice would include further details on care for the future. We found Rob very pleasant to deal with and would use him again and recommend him to others.

Impressive work

Rob came over to fit some silver 20 window films onto our conservatory. He is an incredibly friendly and polite gentleman, and did the job in a good time. The films were fitted in a professional manner, and they really have made a difference – prior to the films is being fitted, the conservatory was incredibly warm. Now, it’s already much cooler, and we are only a day in - needed when it’s so warm right now! We would definitely recommend Rob for future work, as we were impressed by his professionalism, the standard of work, and his efficiency

Conservatory Filming

The whole service from start to finish has been exceptional (especially under these currently difficult circumstances). Rob is very friendly and exceptionally skilled in his trade. He provided sound advice, but without any sales pressure which makes for a refreshing change. Installation was quick and seamless and we're so thrilled with the end result. Rob is honestly one of the nicest tradesmen I've ever come across. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

UK window films

This is the third time I have used Rob Moyce to apply UV resistant film to parts of our conservatory. After replacing the 2 gable ends which had rotted and installing new glazing, Rob came and applied the film to each window. The job is not a straightforward one as the windows are graduated in size and shaped into the arch at both ends. Rob does a brilliant job; he is fastidious and tidy in his work, prompt, polite. The budget and schedule were adhered to. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
